Don't bother ordering from him whatsoever. After a month of waiting and Paypal service fees, I have absolutly nothing to show for it.

I ordered $150 in parts from Doc. He never budges, 2 weeks later I get a response e-mail saying the parts are going out that night. He never sent them. He then proceeded to ignore my e-mails. So I put up a message today, almost a month after payment cleared, complaining that he ignored my e-mails, and that I would publisize his incompitence if he kept ignoring me. (in the e-mails I only wanted an update as to what was going on).

Finally he reposts that he is refusing his service to me, and that he sent whats left of my money back to me.

I got shafted.

This is just an alert to everyone to watch out and not do business with him. You will be out money, and have nothing to show for it. He's a borderline scam artist.

If i put the same effort into my rants as I did into my term paper, it would have been done hours ago.

I didn't even snap until just now.

I just wanted to know what the hold-up was. I wasn't demanding my stuff or anything.

Now I'm fuming mad, I'm glad i have tomorrow off of work.

I understand you being peeved, but in all honesty, the last two years or so, Docs built up quite a reliable reputation toward being, well, unreliable.
When my PGP was getting done, we checked a few different air smiths before deciding on palmer.
Letters from doc were quick when talking about giving him money, but slow when getting an estimate.

He does great work, cool comic and can be a nice guy, but he's almost infamous for how unreliable he is, and how poor his customer service is.

Its really dissapointing one of the most talented airsmiths, is also becoming the biggest liability to the reputation of custom service

If you're bitter enough, copy the headers, get all your paypal info together, and take him to small claims court.
Even if you dont win, you'll cost him lots in travel costs and court fees, maybe it will give him a lesson in business ethics.

just woundering how much he sent back out of the money he sent you? you should complane to the better buisness beuro or something...

edit: after reading your posts it seams your getting kinda heated and shouldent post on that board for a while. but after hearing this i have changed my mind about sending any of my money to doc...

I already sent my complaint to the BBB.

I had a similiar problem with Punisher, six months or so and some name calling and it was finally resolved...over $50 worth of parts! Good luck!
