A5 vertical adapter bleed

   I just bought and installed the DOP vertical adapter, on to my great dismay, it's now spewing CO2.  The leak seems to be originating from the tombstone adapter though, not the vertical adapter.  It bleeding from the space between the tombstone and receiver.  I've taken the whole thing apart and oiled all the rings, but it's still bleeding like mad.
Need help bad, the outdoor season is starting next week!!!

	First, are you sure theres a tank o-ring on the vertical adapter part? You may not have noticed one not being there, and it may seem like its leaking from somewhere else when its not. Next take out the tombstone adapter, and look for any debris in there. Put some oil in and on there too, and put it back in tightly, and make sure it latches in properly. And finally, drop 3 drops of oil in the ASA or tombstone, and fire 30 shots without the barrel on (no paint, just air). This will get seal everything up better in the valve.

	I am sure there is an o-ring on every end of the vertical adapter. They're all there, in one peice, and oiled. I can't even fire any shots, as it's leaking so bad I'd have to re-cock it manually each time. I've checked the tombstone, and it's clean, also oiled. I am at a loss.

	Wow the only thing at all that I can think of is your tombstone isnt completely in. But Im sure it is. Im as lost here as you. Perhaps you could call Tippmann's tech line- 1-800-533-4831

	I may just have to do that. A local shop owner suggested that DOP might have put in poor o-rings, too big or thin or something. I guess I'll have to bug DOP, then I'll call Tippmann.

	Hey! I can about guarantee that's it's not leaking between the TS and Reciever! There shouldn't be anything occuring that should warrant this given that the O-Ring is present and in good shape. You need to check you vert. hookup. Wrap the threads on your vert. feed like mad with teflon tape and screw that baby back in and tighten it good, channel locks work well with that, just don't torque it down too tight and you can use a rag with the wrench so you don't scratch your marker up. This happened when I hooked my remote up to my TS and it leaked really bad despite the huge o-ring that the male end of the remote had. I used a lot of teflon tape and channel locks and it hasn't leaked since. But I thought it was leaking from between the TS and reciever at first too. But I'm not saying that I'm 100% sure that this is the case with your marker.

	You did check to make sure the o-ring isn't damaged in any way, right? Even a little scratch would cause it to leak.

	Yeah, I've double and triple checked all of the o-rings, and they are all in perfect shape. Today I removed everything, just had a stock A5 to work with, and it worked fine. Put the x-core back on and that worked fine, no leaks, added the response trigger, flatline, and so on. Finally it HAS to be the vertical adapter, but I can't figure out why. I'll have to pick up some teflon tape and see if that does the trick. Hopefully it will.

	UPDATE: So i've tried teflon tape, and that hasn't done it. The vertical adapter still causes a leak. It's very close to the tombstone adapter, so I was wondering, are there any internal o-rings on the vertical adapter that I could be missing? The two o-rings on the section that goes into the tombstone are fine, but its in that area that the leak is coming from. I have all the threads wrapped in teflon tape, and re-oiled it all. Still bleeding like mad though.

	Hey! Did you wrap the threads like you should or did you wrap them like mad like I told you to. But like I said, that may not be the problem so if you did wrap them good and it's still leaking...then it's something else.
