I got my gun in I bought on ebay. It's the original model 98 with a pretty cool custom paintjob and a double trigger already installed. But anyways, half the receiver screws are stripped out on it too so I have to buy a parts kit right away for it. Would it be worth the money to buy the 98 custom receivers and convert to a custom? I don't plan on buying a r/t for my gun, but I am going to get a palmer stabilizer, tear drop barrel, and a dop drop with on/off. If these are the only upgrades I plan on getting is it worth getting the custom receivers?

I'm missing my safety on my gun also, does that come with the parts kit too? Are the bolts supposed to stick out the other side of the gun or be flush with the side? Half of the bolts holding my receivers together stick out up to 1/2 inch on some of them...it aint supposed to be that way is it? I thought maybe the guy before me put the wrong screws in the wrong holes or something.

They should all be flush. I wouldn't worry about 98c receivers. Model 98 parts are just fine for what you plan on doing to it.

If you wanted a rt or e-grip, you should get the 98c recievers for 46$ from county. That way you dont have to send it in to tippmann... or wait do they do that for free?
