Before you ever get a scope you need to master your use of your gun. Then a red dot might help you straigten your shots more, but get use to snap shooting.

No. Believe me, a scope is the worst thing you could ever get for a paintball marker. They are ineffective and slow down your aiming if you stop to use it. Paintballs are usually pretty unpredictable and go different places/drop at different rates.. thus making the aiming factor of the scope useless. Another thing is that you can point the gun in the direction of your target, shoot a shot, adjust, and shoot a few more shots in a fraction of the time that it would take you to look in your scope, aim, and fire.. and probably miss. Unless you are going to use the scope to find your opponent at a distance, scopes are useless and will probably get you shot.

i whould recomend not getting one. paintballs do not fly in a vertically straight line. they curve down as they exit the barrel. i could understand using a strong laser with a flate line but not a scope.

If you have a flatline a scope would be cool for looks and would be
semi nice. For woodsball, it might be good, but as the others
have said, paintballs can fly anywhere they want, so for hyper /
speedball there completely usless.
If you are going for looks, go ahead. If you want to save, forget it. |

The only reason to put a scope on a paintball gun is for scouting the ground in front of you.
A Reddot on the other hand has some limited use. When properly adjusted they work well for ambushes at set ranges, when properly used. A reddot is nothing more that a simple headsup sight. If you get "tunnel vision" that is situational awareness issue not an issue with the sight. |

The moral of the story is; do not get a scope.. just learn to point, aim, fire, and adjust.

red dot sights are better unless u dont usually tend to get into a lot of firefights and u pic off people in remote sections of the field if u usually play at a distance and are more of a one shot kill kinda person then a scope can help magnify a target that one might think was a bush or something, basicly it will just give u long range vision if u arent so sure if their are enemies about if u shoot alot and get into many batles a red dot sight is better. |
