you don't need a response trigger for the custom pro, its already got an e-grip, there is no point in buying it anyway it is illegal in most fields and tourneys, if you want a good description on how it works go on the systems part of this website - up top.

^^^You can get 3 different models of the pro custom. Only the e custom pro has the e-grip not the basic and r/t. Heres the answer to your question though... The Response Trigger System is the ultimate big game fire power. The Response Trigger System increases your trigger speed by resetting the trigger and sear with excess gas during firing. This gas is used to operate a cylinder behind the trigger to do the resetting. The pressure of your finger on the trigger pulls it back to fire the next shot. The speed is determined by the amount of flow through the knurled adjuster on the side. The upper limit on the rate of fire is set by this adjuster. |

he pretty much hit the nail on the head. I like mine but take my advice, let the people at your lcal proshop do it because you dont want to screw anything up on it. Its really easy to set up too. You just turn it all the way down and then go up until youre satisfied at a spot where your hopper can keep up. If i had the money though, i might get the pro custom with egrip.

Please make sure your local field allows the Response Trigger before purchasing it. Some fields and most tournaments dont allow it because of its "full auto" capabilities.

No theres a piston behind the trigger that pushes the trigger back into place. When tuned properly the trigger just bounces off your finger and it goes full auto.

The r/t correct me if I'm wrong is the same as the auto response on a Custom Pro.Sorry to be like this but it bugs me that people still call it a 98 Custom Pro or Custom 98 Pro it is Just a Custom Pro and the differances are the DF,Polished Internals,Double Trigger,and the new barrel did I leave anthing out? The Custom 98s don't have these upgrades.If the r/t and Auto Response isn't the same it might as well be. |

thinking about the response trigger and wondering...does it have an on/off switch kinda thing or you can lower the pressure all the way so its like a stock trigger? and i bought the tippmann 98 custom pro and i was wondering if i can buy and on/off switch for my tank without having to buy a new drop forward thanx Edited by Angdvl089 |
