I was using an Empire reloader B on my tippmann98 stock(yea i said it) and at the most random times i was double feeding, chopping internally in the breech and barrel, my velocity was low like 250 so i know its not that, Is the reloader too powerful for the 98 dents(more like ball stoper thingy magig)
HAHAHA, i wipe

wayyyy overkill

Your hopper is set to shoot around 25bps, but you can only shoot around 6-9, and the hopper isnt built for it so it forces too mant balls into the barrel, resulting in a chop

EDIT: to make it work, you should get an E-bolt, or an R/T

I dont know to much about the reloader series but if its an agitating hopper it shouldnt matter how slow you are firing. For that matter.. it shouldnt matter how fast you are firing for any hopper they wont force ball breaks. You may be using bad paint or you may want to make sure the ball latch is in your marker and in correctly. if not it will cause double feeds and alot of chops.

Madpaintballer is correct.

Make sure you check your detent. If it is worn, get a new one. The Reloader B should not be doing what you described in any case.

You should also most definitely check the type of paint you are using. If it is brittle paint, your Reloader B may be too rough for it. I know my stock 98 would shoot any paint I put through it, so try something different.

I have heard of some loaders FORCE FEEDING balls past a worn out detent (it's a ball "latch"). Just replace it and see if it works.

The Reloader B comes with a small battey back.

Use the 4 cell pack

It will slow it down.
