Okay, so I've been saving for an E2 for my cocker.  Right now I have 300 dollars.  My friend just got an ion, i shot it an freaking loved it. 

Here is what i want to know:  Should I keep my Autococker Mech and get an Ion, or should I just save another 200 dollars and get an E2, because i really like those Ions, but i love my cocker too.

I would think that an E2'ed cocker will blow the pants off an Ion. I haven't used a cocker with an E2, but having used many with E1's, I will say that an E1 cocker is better than an Ion.  So and E2'ed cocker must be better.


I wish my grass was emo so it would cut itself.

ions are ok i shot one the other day
they feel like an electric spyder
and they are really easy to clean

E2, you can get them for about $360 new-in-box these days.

Okay, i can get an e2 for 390 dollars. 

I can install the trigger frame.  But i have no clue how to install the eyes...so, yeah.

well, some sort of barrel 100 dollars.  Ndz trigger 40.  QEVs 12 dollars.  Dynasy board 70-100 dollars.

uhm...thats about $242 dollars give or take...so, yeah...

Still, would i be able to install the eyes myself?  Would i have to drill any holes or anything or could i just put it where detent is?

Grr...overpriced, complicated items make me angry...

So I make this "useful," I will say this.

I am almost certain that you would have to redrill holes, rather than put the eyes into the ball detent slots. If you are wary of that, or if you don't think it is worth the trouble, then by all means buy the Ion and add all the stuff you had listed. This way, you have two guns to fiddle with.

I may be wrong in that you can put eyes in the detents, and If I am, I would go for he E2. If you have to do some major changes to the gun to make the E2 work, then buy the Ion and trick it out.
