I just bought a compressed air tank for my tippmann a5, but I didn't get a low pressure kit though because I was informed that I could use the gun without it. I was wondering if anyone recommends getting the low pressure kit anyway or doesn't it make that big of a difference. What is the big difference?

Also, I'm kind of reluctent to get the flatline, I want to hear from actual users what the pros and cons are and do you recommend it or a different barrel.

You can use your gun without it and it doesnt make a big difference.  It does make your marker a bit more consistent though and gives you more shots per fil.

I would look at a firepower upgrade before I would go for the lpk. I run my 98C on a screw in hpa tank and it works great. I am not a big flatline fan. I just tend to go for simple and bombproof.

a5 will wrk wit out it but same said get more shots a fill. em i got the flatline on one of my 98c and it wasn't hard to install or to take care of. It shoots great. If u rlly wanna spend the money on it u can get it for like $100 or get a lapco bigshot shot for like $40-50.

Getting the LPK really won't make a difference. The Flatline is a good barrel. So if you want to be able to shoot farther, then the Flatline is the barrel for you.

The LPK is not really a necessary upgrade, I would save it for the last
upgrade you can get... if you want to further improve your marker.
The LPK is designed to give you:
More consistency over the chrono
Less Recoil
Less Report

Personally I tend not to use my A-5 Flatline that much... I think it needs to
be re-sandblasted or something. I play alot of speedball and like to use my
J&J barrel alot. I am considering getting either a St!ffi or a Snapshot in the
future.

LPK does make a differance. Its more quiet, much more consistant. softer on paint, more efficiant, and has all the other benefits of a LP gun. Pretty much every single high-end gun is LP because itsmore practical and better, so why not make your A-5 like that?
