Well I am buying an Ion and want to pick up a hopper, Is there really any difference between the two. If so what is it? And the Reloader costs $20 more than the halo. And both have a rip drive.

The reloader B uses sound to know when to feed a ball. So, when you shoot, the hopper loads a ball.
In the halo B, it uses eyes. When it senses a gap it the feed, it will load. Its not very consistant. Go with the reloader. Its board is much better than the halo. |

The Reloader B Comes with the three speed board, extra battery pack, and a rip drive. So if your going to compare prices get the options on the Halo before you decide it's cheaper. You will find out it is not. |

The Halo B feeds on motion. I have heard the Reloader Bs get scetchy after hitting 22bps or so. Go buy a Halo B with rip drive and then go buy a victory board so you can slow down the Halo B to 17bps so it equals out with the ion. |

Tough one. Reloader B's are more consistent, but their board cannot be updated if you are an extremely fast shooter. Halo's win in the upgrades court; as they can accept all kinds of aftermarket widgets. Since you have an Ion that can go (for now) a max of 17 bps, go for the Reloader B. |
