I want to make my 98 Custom faster and I was stuck
between the R/T and the E-Grip. I mostly play outlaw woods ball (Mid
and Front).
Also, which hopper would you reccomend with each upgrade. I have about $150. |

yeah i would have to say E-grip because there is nothing better than tippmann for woodsball so saving up fo another is really kind of pointless. Yeah E-grip has some pretty beastly modes like turbo and it has a mode very similar to r/t. Plus, i have heard r/t can be a gas gussler. (gas as in co2)

get the r/t and you will have like $80 left over. with the rest you can
get a nice hopper like a 12v rev and still money left over for shipping if you get it off the web. |

Do you mean the e-bolt? And the response trigger isn't a "gas guzzler", I have one. If you play woodsball near water or when it's raining i would go for the response trigger. If not you could always get an e-bolt, but about the cheapest I've seen is $220

Just curious, whats that have to do with anything? Kind of random. There is no E-Grip for the 98, yet. Theres just the E-Bolt and ESK (ols-school sear tripper). You wont find either for under $200. The RT is great. Definatly a must for outlaw play. |

the rt is great but i have a ricochet ak and tht kinda limits the speed of my gun untill i decide 2 buy another ...i would definately go for the rt and then buy a good hopper for about 80-100...of course i bout my ak for 35 at 888paintball.com

RT is faster than E-bolt/grip and better for woods or outlaw. However tournaments will not allow it. So Tournament player = E-Bolt/Grip(If the E-Grip ever comes out) Outlaw woods player = R/T or Super RT if you must but you'll need a fast hopper Either way since you probably won't find the need to shoot the RT until you chop so hard your gun is dripping paint from every crack, I think the Halo TSA is a great deal for you. R/T + TSA = roughly $120-$130 Maybe $140 with tax. Edited by ^Pirate^ |

Any other hoppers you reccomend?
I was talking about the E-Grip for the 98 Custom that is coming out next month and not the E-Bolt. |

Where did you hear this? The cyclone may come out next month, but havnt heard anything at all official on the 98 E-Grip. For average RTs, a good hopper is the Halo TSA. Revvys are ok, but I see them a little slow. EVO IIs are a little faster than both. |

The E-Grip thing is something I kept hearing on the fourm.
I think I will wait on the R/T and the Halo TSA and get a Palmers Stabilizer. For the stabilizer would I have to get a hose longer than the stock one, I tryed the hose chart at County Paintball but that was no help. Edited by fireperson97012 |

Wait for the E-Grip. If you every want to play on a commercial field the RT will disqualify your marker. |
