I have been saving up for a Tippmann 98 custom for ever, and I fineally ahve enough. But recently I came into some unexpected cash from my dad, so I thaught I might step it up a little. My mind first went to the SP ION, but I have heared too many mixed reviews of it, and I was still partial to Tippmann. Then I thought of an A5 Rt, but they are kinda big and bulky for my taste, and two people on my team have them, so now I a leaning back toward a 98 Custom RT with a 14" J&J ceramic barrel. I mostly play woodsball, but i want something that can hold its own on a speedball field as well. Any suggestions?

im sry to say, but 98c no matter what you do just cant cant hold its own on a speedball field, mostly because the r/t is banned in all tourneys (any i have heard of) and some fields ban it on their speedball fields too. If you want woods, go 98c, if you want speedball go Ion for sure

I'd say go with what you said. You can always save up and upgrade accordingly later on.

dont get an R/T unless u have an electro hopper... cuz you'l chop... but i'd say go for the A-5 R/T... its smaller than the 98 and its easier to find parts for it.
