Everything on my gun is stock except the barrel.
Here is a picture with part of the barrel showing. ![]() And here is a picture of my gun with the barrel below it, the salt shaker is there so the gun wouldn't tilt to the side. ![]() Last but not least, here is a picture of my barrel. It is a Progressive 14 inch barrel. ![]() Please rate my gun in a scale between one and 10. And sorry for the big pictures. Edited by venom230 |

You deffinitly need to get some upgrades for that thing. I suggest getting an electric hopper and a new trigger.

Lol, that's not bedsheets, thats a table cloth! What's so bad
about my trigger? I am going to get an electronic hopper soon I
hope. Should I get a camo paint job or any kind of paint job?

I play Woodsball, but I might start playing both, because there is a place close to my house that plays speedball I think.

I am going to get a double trigger and an electronic hopper both, then
i'll be upgraded. For a Model 98 to get a double trigger, does
someone have to retro-fit my gun?

no you can not put a dubble trig on your model without milling the
trigger guards off. they are permanent guards, you might as well just
sell your model and get a custom, and you can change the trig with a
minimum of work. thats an ok start, your barrel will show up in woods
tho, its shiny, also get a firepower up and a drop before an electric
hopper, fire power up being a r/t or an ebolt. if you are a serious
woodsballer you might consider a remote line and a stock.
good luck, Michael aka tofumonkee |

Sorry for the double post, but I don't think i'm going to get a double
trigger unless I make it. Because i'd have to get it Retro-Fitted
if I didn't make it...

I would have gotten yelled at if I posted a stock 98 with a new barrel... in fact I think A-5 bunkerking did it...
Anyways, I recommend a new trigger, drop or remote, and then a firepower upgrade, after that an electronic hopper.
I wouldn't sell it or get a 98c, I wish I would've gotten a m98 from the start rather than the 98c, I think nowadays it's more original plus, real markers have gills. Edited by ^Pirate^ |

Not a bad start. I'd send it into Tippmann. The Pro Shop has a deal where you can get a 98c w/ RT I believe. It's more upgradable that way. Anyway, nice start.

mill the letters, mill the gills, mill the rear site, double trigger, drop forward, r/t or ebolt or keep it mech, if you keep it mech-clicky pen spring mod and sear spring mod(pm me and i will tell u how to do it),X-chamber if yyou still want to run on co2, or reg if u want comp air, revy or evo2, and last of all a supa fly bolt, and then u might want to paint it..
