So ya i got a 98 custom and i just played a tourny and i guy told me to get a good gun so i become a bettter player because he said i had the skills just needed to shoot more with a faster gun so any suggestions i don't care in price i just want your opinion thanks

that guy just fed u a nice big pile of what comes out of a white man when he eats too many enchiladas. you can tear people up at 4bps but if u must have ur precious BPS get an Ion with HPa and a new feedneck with a jj ceramic or bigshot. ur worse than triggerhappy... nvm he's the kid who tried to make a spyder shoot 40bps and he pulled the trigger and the thing literally fryed right in his hand. that was a classic.... if i were you i'd tell that guy u were find with ur tippy. at the most i would get an ebolt...maybe. i would probably get a double trigger since im a marksmen just incase i needed some bps to hide behind.

Hate to tell you, but speed helps on a speedball course, but atlast, it isn't everything.

Well, we need a price range.
Do you have the little things, tank, hopper etc?

Tippmanns really arnt that good for speedball, a faster and more compact gun will help you out a lot, like they said the gun isnt everything but there is no doubt it does help a lot.

b2k4 w/ pds is a great speedball gun for only about $300, a lot better then the Ion is trust me. If you can afford an Intimidator, DM5, Angel, Karnivorr, or other $1000+ gun go for it, I sure wish I could.

Well i think i might buy an ion or b2k4 cuz i heard they were lite and yes i'd probably need to buy a new hopper and tank so i guess ill start with starter tourny gun that work my way up and i play and get better and better agreed?

Go with an Ion. If you have skill it's time to compliment that skill with a worthy marker.

Just don't use a high ROF as a crutch!

Well id go completly off base and suggest getting a AGD ULE Coustom Automag.

Just as reliable/durable as a tippmann plety of speed and FULLY mehcaincal.  Oh and the ule coustomes have Xvalves with level 10s so you will NEVER chop a ball.  and regardless of what ANYONE tells me 10-15bps is PLENTY for ANY game.  Heck i do fine with my 10 on my Minimag.

Oh other benifits of Mag over other markers SUPER SMALL, very simple and easy to feild strip.  AND NO ELECTRONICS to worry about the only battery ya need to change or charge is the one in your hopper and not even that if ya go with a q loader.

acutally now i think im going to buy that cheap autococker the triglogy pro because my friend has it and he says its a nice marker u start off with plus its mechanical so its easy to take care of thanks for help everyone
