Hey guys. I'm not sure I'm supposed to post this here. Anyway I didn't see a section it fit in so here it is: I'm looking for a new mask to replace the tippmann armor (same as the Vforce. Tippmann had a few thousand made to go with packages.) goggles I got with my 98 custom package. I've been told that thermal lenses are the way to go. Why is it so important? Also I've heard good things about the dye masks... Unfortunately they're hella expensive. Are the worth the price? If not give some alternatives? Thanks. |

Thermal lenses are great. Most of them rarely fog. Vforce masks are not thermal, but they do have an anti-fog coating baked onto the lenses. This works very well, also. I reccommend you try out a variety of goggle systems, mainly Vforce, Proto, JT, and Dye, and see which you like the best. Don't skimp on goggles. You don't want an uncomfortable pair or ones that fog. This can be dangerous. Pay for good ones. |

I really love my JT enforcer. Thermal lens, good looks, venting, good protection, easy to clean. I say its the perfect mask under 60$. Try it youll like it. Thermal lenses are important definitely

i have some 20 dollar JT and i can breathe on the lens ( like you do to a dirty pair of glasses, or to write on windows when its cold) and it didn't fog it up. So do that to them and if they don't fog when they do that, there perfect.

I have a cheap thermal lens brass eagle mask and it is great. It doesnt fog at all. I dont know why everyone buys expensive masks. Just get a cheap one like me and you can buy almost 2000 painballs with what is saved.(thats what i did

The nforcer is too stiff. Get a softer mask w/ thermal. JT Spectra or Flex.

I like having a fan in your mask. It keeps you cool and you won't fog up.

Anything V-force is nice. If you have the funds the Profiler is the way to go.
