Topic: Shenko Cocker with pimp new stuffPosted: 06 August 2005 at 2:00am |
![]() ![]() This was originally a '97 full size Autococker. I believe it started life ano green, was later painted blue, someone stripped out the gripframe bolt holes, and was badly polished when i bought it from Kiolia for $120 or so. For a comparison, http://shenko.homedns.org/cocker1.jpg is what it looked like when i bought it. Boring "store bought" upgrades: The greatest barrel ever, the CMI ThunderPig STO ram and 3-way STO gripframe (badly needs replacing) Roller sear and trigger plate Upgrades built by me from raw materials: Reciever cut down to minicocker size, all milling done by me (because i rule) Solid brass hammer Aluminum velocity adjuster (stock was a heavy lump of steel) Cocking Knob LP Chamber/front block bolt LPR mount Back Block (Future SHI product) Superlight delrin bolt Delrin bolt pull pin It desperately needs a new gripframe, a less lame looking barrel, i need to mill a beavertail, im considering a front block. It also cries out for nice ano or powdercoating, which might be done pretty soon. Edited by Enos Shenk |

This is just my wild guess, but Im gonna have to say that Shenko is
stamped on there? Also, do you use a CNC? Or a grinder and files,
X and Y Axis mill, etc, etc?

The Shenko lettering was cut with a dremel bit in my CNC Taig mill. The sight rail work was done by hand on a bandsaw, hand files and steel wool. |

You did that work on the sight rail by hand?
Great. I love the milling and powdercoating would make me go limp. |
