I have an expansion chambre, which from whaqt i know helps co2
efficiency by lettign it expand more. I also recently acquired a
remote line. will this be a problem, or will I get really good
gas efficiency, i once herd that a remote coil does the same thing as
an expansion chambre.

Neither will improve your efficiency by a lot, but a remote/X-Chamber combo wont hurt. |

Right. It isn't going to hurt your gun at all. The remote does kind of work like an expansion chamber, but it doesn't do it as well.

You are not gonna notice a big difference in shots per tank but maybe a slight one. And as the remote/x-chamber combo goes it won't be a problem.

If you shoot fast with the CO2 tank screwed directly into the ASA after a few shots you will begin to blow CO2 snow. If you continue to shoot like that you will deplete the tank VERY quickly...as few as 300 to 500 shots. The expansion chamber gives the CO2 a chance to vaporize before entering the valve inside the marker. This will reduce waste of liquid CO2. BUT if you continue to shoot fast (a high rate of fire) you can overwhelm the expansion chamber and still shoot snow (solid CO2). The remote set up gives the liquid CO2 a much longer distance to travel before it enters the marker allowing any liquid a chance to completely turn to gas. With a remote the need for the expansion chamber, as a place for the liquid (or solid) to turn to gas, is lessened. But the chamber may still help as somewhat of a volumizer to supply the valve at those high rates of fire. Having both the x-chamber and the remote is no disadvantage. |
