Try a shorter barrel,
like 12"-14" or, a different kindof barrel, I've heard that
progressives aren't that accurate, other than that it's all mechanics
of the marker.

Try a Dye ultralite, little pricy but you can pick what back and front you want(Actvil.com) along with length and bore size.

My JJ ceramic is very accurate but I can't really compare it to other barrels because the only other one I have shot is the stock barrel.

I've always liked the All American for accuracy. If you wan't super
accurate, you could always buy a freak kit. Then you can match the bore
size up to the paint.
Also of note, are you running regular CO2? Just a regular tank is prone to a lot of velocity spikes, which will also hurt your consistancy, which affects your accuracy.. I'd recommend an anti-siphon, or an expansion chamber. Getting a Palmers with your anti-siphon will get you to +/- 3fps or so. Of course, you could go HPA. This will help your consistency a lot. |

best accuracy = get rid of the co2, go hpa with a palmers reg. get a
barrel kit with at least 3 different bore sizes, and match the paint to the barrel
bore. if they have tourney grade paint use it, it is more consistant
for being round and you will get fewer bounces. you don't need any
barrel over 14" long for speedball it will NOT help with accuracy and
just use more air. if you have the egrip you don't need the"straw"
thing. just look at what the other teams are useing - that should tell
you what you need to do.

Your consistency over the chrono is a major factor in your accuracy. Also
recoil can throw follow-up shots off. If you want to increase your consistency, you could do a number of things, the best would be to get HPA. |

I suggest switching to nitro. If you do, try your gun with it BEFORE you do anything else. You can make a 12 inch barrel do really well with nitro as ime told, so a 16 inch should get the same effect if not better. You also may need to raise your velocity because of the length of your barrel. A long barrel + low velocity = bad. A long barrel + higher velocity = good. |
