You probably screwed it in so far that you popped the threads out of
the power tube. Here's a tip. When you feel lots of
resistance, STOP SCREWING IT IN. Don't know why you'd need your
velocity that low anyway...
Before you do buy the new tube, I suggest purchasing a dictionary. You never know, it might come in handy  |

mx first off welcome to the forums secondly to see if your power tube is stripped out just split the gun and remove the screw look into the threaded hole and see if the threads are damaged, if they are and the gun is under warranty just call tippmann they'll send you one free of charge

Number 1 : I was a "jerk" because our dear friend schanppi seems to think hes funny enough to attack newbs. That is a behavior that is not tolarated. Attacking out of frustration is one thing, because its "funny" is a whole nother story. Number 2 : Post count is an indication of nothing at all. There are standard memebers that have been here half as long as me with twice as many posts and other regualrs that have been here for much longer then me with only a few more posts then you. Post count is worthless. |

I was just wondering if any one else had a problom with their tippmann 98 custom velosity screw. my problem was that i think one time i screwd it in to far and it broke,and now when i screw it far in it runs out of threds and falls into the power toob. so i think im going to replace the power toob.
