I had the spyder xtra before, and that was stolen... I used it once. Anyways, Im looking for a new gun... And Tippmann seems like a good choice, but I have a few questions.. Ive got about 400-500 USD to spend. What should I get? What upgrades? Could you please tell me what these upgrades do? I want to be able to play speedball and woodsball. :) Thanks in advance.

Id say for speed ball custom proE then get a egg then a cheap Hpa tank then get the gun in camo..
I think thats a good place to start for a new or exprearenced player. the pro E gives you electonics at a farly low cost but still very durable. The Egg will give you or let you go wide open with your ProE, Then Hpa well if you dont know the diff between that and c02 then im going to tell you Hpa is more stable then c02 making you marker more efficinet ect. this is what id recomend and i think it would be right for you but, see what others have to say.

im more of a woodsball person, but here we go.
model 98 custom with rt already installed. 218$ vertical adaptor for regulator 20$ palmer stabilizer 88$ lapco bigshot 8 inch bead blasted barrel 42$ 200 round q-loader. 80$ That is 448$ that is very fast. I would choose the lapco bigshot, because it is just as acurate as my "14 and it keeps the gun nice and tight. I would ask tippmann for a LPK hose for the RT, to make it a super rt. If tunned nicely, the rt can make low 20's. Ive heard of 24.5 bps. I think that you should also consider getting a Qloader. They can be pricy, but the can feed 31+bps.
If 24 isnt fast enough, or you dont like the rt, You should get the 98 custom pro E 239$ and an equalizer board at 80$ That would be a 549 $ setup with the palmer, bigshot, and Q-loader. It would be capible of 30 BPS
Other suggestions: get a double trigger. I have no suggestions for you on this one. rocket cock II to cover up the bolt. Looks cool. If you get the q-loader you'll probably want to get the lapco direct feed kneck. and dop pro II drop. Its got this cool way that you can turn off you tank, and you can put a pressure guage on it. thats pretty much my dream gun. It would be very capible. However, this does not account for your air supply. I would suggest HPA for speeds of 20+ bps to avoid shoot down. |

by the way not to be mean or anything but if you have the sabilizer then the reg is not needed or the vert adapter"unless you get the male verson and you dont need any of this crap if you buy HPA hP out put tank.

if you are shooting 20+ bps you can do it w/o a reg, but i have seen the guages kirk out, and were high and low and high. I would deffinately get a palmer. without consistancy there can be no accuracy.

98 custom pro, J&J barrel, e-grip or R/T( keep in mind that the R/T isn't legal at all fields or hardly any tournaments), expansion chamber, vertical adapter, and electric hopper(of your choice).
