I want to get a new gun and had my eye on the impulse and ion. Should
get an Ion and Upgrade to be as good as an Implse. Or would it save
money to get an Impulse.
Are there many performance Ups for the Ion? Do i need a LP tank to play w/ a Impulse since it has the max-flo which i think is LP, not sure. Thanks, |

A stock Ion is better than a stock Impy, IMO. Break beam eyes > reflective eyes. Plus the Ion is a lot smaller.

Yep, I'd take the ion as well. Lighter and smaller, as well as being
able to rip right out of the box. From what I've heard, Imps need a lot
of ups to get them to the level they should be at for a middle range
gun. (This is just what I've heard)

imps arnt that bad of a gun. with alittle bit of upgrades they rip
pretty hard.like a was bored, trigger, barrel, bolts. but by the time you
pay for all that you can just buy a used angel.

Yeah and the fact that impulses are dirt cheap now a days. I played with an ion yesterday. I decided to use if for a few games. The thing ripped. It was very light, and just plain out fast. I'd reccomend them. |

i would go w/ the ion b/c it would cost less to completely upgrade it.. plus the stock ion rips way better than an upgraded impulse (and yes i ahve shot both).

I have shot both guns befor and having seen them in action I would say
they both need a little upgrading out of the box, but the only thing I
would do would be to put a better trigger on either gun. I like the cp
roller tiggers myself. After that they both ripped the same to
me. However I have noticed that imps breakdown less than ions
do. But the ion is a lighter gun. I guess its a trade off,
reliability vs. weight. Its up to you really.
Get what you want if you settle for something else you will kick yourself later. |

my friends have ions and impulses, i love my friends ion because everything goes together red and black and the cp roller trigger is sweeeeeeeeeeet, but my friend has an impulse that has like over 250 in ups and an egg2, he just walks like crazy, the only problem ive seen with ions is the reg. my friends doesnt like it because he cant adjust his because of a hmmm i forgot what they called but it goes with macroline and its in the way so he cant adjust the reg. my other friends impy is messed up he had 200 in ups and the balls went 10 feet, but he sold it piece by piece and now hes getting a shocker |
