I want to mount my Qloader onto my 98 Custom like it is done with this gun:
![]() Basically mounted directly onto the feed hole on top of the marker. What will I need to do that? I already have a Qloader. But I want it installed like the above picture. Having the white tube is pretty obnoxious, and not all of the paintballs will feed into the gun if there's tubing. Plz help a Qloader owner. (BTW, I've broken 2 Qpods already. WTF at that!? Good thing they fix them for free, but the shipping is expensive. Damn plastic parts. Damn disassembling and reassembling procedure! Oh well, at least it performs) |

Should I use the Lapco Direct Feed? Along with the Q-loader O-rings to
keep it tightly attached? Plz help. My local paintball retailer owner
is a caveman that knows nothing about these kinds of accessories.

IF you dont want to look down your sights then get a center feed but the Q LOADER isnt going to feed fast enough with the stock elbo so id get the Center feed but maybe puting the tube under the barrel because you gun is goin look like a squart gun, no afence not tryin to be mean and im not disin your idea I just wouldn't have it set up like that but thats just me its all up to you, so i hope it works out right and im not sure what you need to have it set up like this im not the Pro at Qloaders but just tryin to help out a fellow Paintballa.

Monkey Hunter, Qloader doesn't need a centerfeed. The spring tension is
strong and loads the paintballs fast, even with an elbow. I wish mods
could delete BS posts.
So, can any knowledgeable person answer my question? |

Its not really hard to do, bring your elbow feed to Home Depot and look for at the assortmnet of small PVC Tubing and when you find the correct size, cut it down to where you want it. Edited by evil_fingers |

I don't really want the Qloader to stick out too far on top with the
PVC tube, and I don't want the loader to wiggle around on an axis. I want it mounted onto the feed, wrapped around the outside of it. I guess I answered my own question when I suggested getting a Lapco direct feed but I would like someone to tell me whether or not that'd be the best choice or if there's a cheaper alternative. |

I'm sick of tubes and I don't want anything to do with them. They
just add to the confusion. :P Edited by Geoduck |

The cheap alternative is to install the system with the parts that come with it. The suggestion that you visit a Home Depot type place and scrounge through the pvc pipe fittings is the easiest thing to do if you do not want to spend the BIG money for a Lapco part. I believe, IIRC, that 1" diameter pvc fits inside the Tippmann neck. You can then slide a pvc bushing over that to increase the diameter to that of the inside of the Q-Loader neck. Trying to slip something over the outside of the Tippmann neck is impractical. The pinch bolt is also needed to hold the pvc pipe tightly. |

OK, I'll try the PVC pipe idea (now that I understand that PVC pipes
are not flexible). I'll bring my parts to Home Depot and see what they
have.
If it wiggles around I'm going to rip my qloader to shreds. |

That's a nice setup, and the tube along the top allows you to easily
load up all the extra paintballs even when the qpod spring has done
turning.
Spending $100 on something simple like a scope mount should be illegal though. |

If that was the case, Scopes would be illegal to have and use as well, regardless if its on a real rifle or a paint gun. |

dude, thats like the same as having a hopper on top of your gun i thought the point of the q-loader was to get the hopper out of the way to better see down the barrel? |

i think ur best bet would be to get a lapco direct feed and attach the q-loader onto that then get somthing to hold it horizontal so its not twisting all around on ya; it'd stick out a little ways on the other side but itd be the simplest solution in my opinion
