ok, since no one is looking at the updates in np forum, i decided to start posting them in here.
^this is the allen key trigger i made, next to a double trigger so you can assume size
^this is the first coat of red paint on my lettering. i was going to mill them off, but i figured why not be creative instead of jumping on the bandwagon.
^the wavy milling i did on the rear sight. like it?
^kinda crappy pic of the back view of the rear trig frame milling
^side view of rear trig frame milling and now for the update:
^2nd coat of paint on letters, it looks much better now
^side view of top sight rail milling
^rear view of top sight rail milling so what do you think so far? i plan on center feeding it and making it top cocking soon, and a paintjob too. feel free to criticize(like i needed to say that) and add ideas. Edited by bluemunky42 |

Good job, and do you actually play with the allen wrench trigger? If so, how do you like it compared to the double trigger?

Anita's All Purpose Acrylic Craft Paint. red(obviously). and i think i'm gonna go with the teletubby head idea
-edit- when you painted your letters, did you sand/file them a little bit? that helps the paint stick, otherwise it's a smooth surface and it chips/flakes easily. Edited by bluemunky42 |

or you could use one of those old troll dolls heads so that every time you fire it kinda head bangs
and i did sand the letters a bit, maybe just paint brand i dunno... also been thinking of channeling out the letters so that the outer edge of them is stock hight and the paint the iner part thats channeled ?????

started the centerfeed:
so far, my drill bit is proving to be dull, and is not going all the way through. however, i have others which i will use tomorow and then a dremel will complete the hole. i also need to pick up some bondo for the side feed. |
