well im thinkin of gettin a new hopper, but i dont want to spend a lot of money so i was thinkin either a vl revvy or an empire reloader 2. i know they both feed 12-14 balls per second and that the empire is sound activated. im wonderin what type of batteries each uses and wether or not the revvy is sound activated. right now im leanin toward the reloader 2, unless you think that's a bad idea and can dissuade me. also, i have a 98c and i play woodsball a couple times a month. i want to get into speedball, so i was thinkin an electro spyder (the imagine led) would be a good begining gun. ive heard many varying opinons on it though. i was also thinkin an ion, but with n2 and a hopper to keep up, that can get kinda expensive for sumone thats just starting out. so my 2nd question is is there an electro between spyder quality/price and ion quality/price that i could still use c02 with? |

Eggs are nice hoppers like the guy said before me but you can use an ion with co2 you just have to get a siphon filter in it. The ion is a great gun for beginers and it also gives u the psp ramping capibilites if u gett into tourneys like that. That is what i would buy if i didnt have my imp already.

My EvoII feeds my ION all day to its lil hearts content. So yeah the
egg is just fine for the ION, well at least for me it is. I shoot
1-shot and very short bursts once in awhile for cover fire.

The Empire Reloader 2 is a very nice hopper. It is the same as the revvy only it is sound activated. No, the revvy is not sound activated, it is running all the time. I think they both use 9 volts.

^^The Evo 2 uses (2) 9 volts. And the battery door is alright. Just be carefull and it'll be fine. I've had my Evo 2 for about.. man it's been a while... I'd say 8 months and I've never had a prob with anything on it; including the batt. door. |

The Spyder Imagine is a good gun for the price. My friend got one and loves it. I like it buy find it has higher recoil than my 98c, cause its way lighter. (duh)

If you do have a problem with the battery door on the egg.....just use the duck tape mod.
