Just installed the LP fittings and lines after work today. It was dark already so this is the best I could do with the video. The RT hard to sustain and it flips the lid open on my hopper when I shoot! I will get a better video up soon when I properly tune the velocity/pressure/RVA/RT flow control, over a chrono.

Nice. I remember seeing a picture of your A-5 with that paintjob. It worked amazing in the woods, nice job.

After Tig's mods -
http://media.putfile.com/MOV0043536
The second half it slows down a bit, I'm not sure why.
The trigger return spring is out. I replaced the sear spring with the stock one that Tippmann sent me. They looked the same and about the same tension. The original is brass colored and the stock one is black.

When I come home over my lunch break I'll try to get a day time video. I'm going to bring home a fat rubber band also to keep my hopper shut! Slows down reloads but I won't spill a hopper. Now I shoot it open! I'll try with the stock one ond see if it pops also

How fast are you shooting? Im interested to know because I have heard of alot of feeding problems with the cyclone when you go over 17bps without the QEV mod...

I can get ~22 with my Super R/T and I know the Cyclone doeesnt cycle that fast.

I'm not sure how fast yet. My cyclone is a popcorn maker.

I'll elaborate. The cyclone doesn't break balls, it slams them toward the back of the hopper and skips shooting them. Sort of like throwing balloons into a fan. I have a big rubber band on my lid now.

I don't know about the QEV I hear mixed reviews.

The reason why it does that is because the cyclone is cycling so fast that the ball doesnt have time to drop into the chamber properly, so it just spins and spins like a blender until you stop shooting.

Yes so what would a QEV do to fix that? Spinning faster isn't going to fix it. I need something to take up the volume of the hopper after the balls leave. Then I may get breaks though. I wonder how hard it would be to adapt a Q-loader? It would really clean up the top of the marker for sight. I am not crazy about those loaders though.

I dont know the specifics of the QEV mod, check out http://pbownersgroup.com/forum and look in the A-5 section and it tells all about it.

Adapting a Q-Loader would most likely be relitivily easy, if you could machine a mounting bracket for it (or maybe find some place that sells them). The problem lies in the fact that the Qloader only holds 100rds, and in under 5 seconds you will shoot through a pod....

I'm not going to play with it that fast anyway, I think I will keep it how I have it for now. It would be nice to get rid of that blind spot from the hopper though.
