Ever since I received the marker, I've constantly been shooting it with NO air-source attached, with the E-Trigger ON (so it clicks everytime you pull the trigger from the armature pin hitting the sear).
All of a sudden, it just stops. Im pulling the trigger, the trigger's hitting the switch, but the electronics just aren't working. So I took the marker apart, and to my surprise I found that the magnet never brought the bottom of the armature back to where it's supposed to. What the heck could be doing this? My sear spring should be pushing AGAINST the armature pin, pushing the pin on the solenoid/armature and pushing the back of the armature against the magnet but it's not for some reason. Does anyone know what could be causing this??? Thanks. |

A few minutes ago, i was pulling the trigger on my pro custom e (making it click) and all of a sudden it stopped. I took off the left grip and this is what i see: ![]() It shouldn't look like that. It should look like this: ![]() What could be wrong??? By the way, I just tried it with 2 new batteries and it does the same thing. Edited by ScMc |

Take out your magnet and inspect it and make sure its not broke. Mine did the same thing and the magnet was broke. If it is call Tippmann and they will send you a new one. If its not broke take the gun appart and make sure the magnet is firmly placed it the slot under the armature.

The magnet wasnt broken, but the little material that was on it was coming off
![]() I guess I will just call tippmann and tell them I need a new magnet. But the weird thing is, I've been messing around with the marker WITHOUT the magnet in it at all, and it's been shooting okay but once in a while it will stick. I dunno. I guess I'll just get a new magnet and see if it helps. |

You can bother to waste time and get a new magnet from tippmann. Why? I had the problem already except mine acutally broke. I called Tippmann and they sent me a new one. After maybe three days of it seeing action again with the new Magnet, it starts shooting and suddenly you hear clicking by pulling the trigger and the gun does not fire... I inspected the gun just yestery day at the field and the magnet was not broken at all this time. When I was test fireing the gun while a clean view of the magnet the Motor metal shaft was not getting pulled back to the magnet even with the force of the pin pushing back. Don't waste your time calling them. Send them the gun and ask them for a 98 custom with a real trigger system. The E-grip is pure garbage.

Thanks for the input man. It helps to know that other people are experiencing the same exact thing. I'll call them up Monday and see what's up. |

you know what the problem I am having now is? My gun is fully cocked and locked, only thing is when I pull the trigger I hear a click and thats it. The gun does not fire. It will happen non-stop until I wait a while and than pull it again. I shoot the gun and it fires once and than it recocks and the clicking comes back. I just replaced the battery and it seemed to have stopped but now its happening again. I have a battery tester and it says that this battery has results a little bit better than the original, here is an idea how it looked -----> &am p;am p;nb sp; Original Battery BAD||||||:::GOOD * Replacement Battery   ; BAD||||||:::GOOD * Edited by FireStrorm89 |
