hi, my 98 shoots the first shot nice and strong, but the next one is shot kinda weakly. then the next one is strong and then weak again. i bearly bought it yesterday and im new at this so i dont want to mess with it if i dont know what im doing. i got a feeling maybe the blowback reload thing isnt blowing back all the way. could this possibibly be solved by turning the velocity up? thanks...

Are you using CO2? Is it cold when you are shooting? How Fast are you Shooting?

If you are using CO2, you are most likely getting liqiud CO2 into your marker, and it doesn't expand into gas, the only way to fix it is a Exp. Chamber..

I need more info to make anymore guesses...

I had the same problem. Look on the back side of the Gun and you will see two small screws in the middle. Check and make sure they are still their because they tend to come loose. And if they are still there make sure they are not to tight but tight enough because you dont wont to strip the threads.
