This may seem like a kinda stupid question but I'm getting a drop forward for my m98 and I have been tryin to take the hose off the gun but I cant seem how to figure to take it off. Can any of yall tell me how to take the hose off the gun? Thanks!

Split the shells apart. Remove the power valve. Hold it tightly in your hand (a pair of gloves may halp) Slide a 7/16" tight fitting wrench over the fitting and turn it counter clock-wise to unscrew it from the valve. Then grab the ASA and do the same thing again. If Loc-Tite has been used to seal the fittings you may have to clamp both the power valve and then the ASA in a vise to enable unscrewing the hose fittings. Use one of those gloves I suggested to wrap around the valve and/or ASA to protect them from cosmetic damage from the vise jaws. |
