Hey guys, I was wondering, would be better to buy a 98 CP from my friend and slap a cyclone on it or just get a basic A-5? Thanks for helping me out! |

If youve got the cash get the a5, but thats my opinion, you wont need to do any work to put on the cyclone. Otherwise try both in a game or two and see which one is most comfortable to you

The A-5 has the additional advantages of easier field stripping and greater modularity, but otherwise it is mainly a matter of personal preference.

i think that the A-5 stock would be better, but if you customized the 98 beyond a cyclone, it would be better. but that's a general statement, because i dont know anyone who hasnt upgraded or customized their gun.

I like the Custom Pro with Cyclone because the cyclone just sits on the elbow thing like a 98C or 98CP and you can clean it out very easily. If you want to remove the foregrip get an A-5, but I prefer the 98CP. I have the cyclone for my cp and it's great.

Go with that Custom Pro and just add cyclone. It's more comfortable because its lighter.

go with the custom pro an add a cyclone cuz the custom pro has a double trigger, drop forward, and in my opinion a better stock barrel

^ Definately. The Custom Pro would be better than an a-5 as long as you
add the cyclone. The Custom Pro has a WAY better barrel, the double
trigger's really comfy (at least for me),and the drop lets you use your
CO2 as a stock that you can use the sights with.

i would go with a5 cus you dont have to worry about putting the cyclone on and plus the a5 stock barral is more acurate than the 98 guns then after that put a r/t on it just put a little bit of pressure on the trigger enough to make it shoot hold it and youll be shootin fully auto and still field legal
