Hello all !
Okay so I have a tippmann 98C modded to look like a M4 but the problem is that the magazine is way to much on the left and it doesn't really look like a M4... I opened my pic in photoshop to see how it would look like and here's the result below. Is there anyway to fix this? Original : ![]() Photoshoped : (Looks more realistic uh?) ![]() |

So do what this person did. Mill off the front grip, and grab a drill and drill some new mounting holes for the mag further back. Use your imagination. |

Now that looks like an M4. All these magazine kits from opsgear and specops look like crap IMO. They place the mag way to far forward and the thing ends up looking just plain stupid. I suggest doing what Eric Engler did there and drill your own mounting holes. All you need is a drill and a bit. Oh, a tap would help too. |

here's what you do:... take a hack saw and saw off the front grip.. once off, grind down any left overs to make everything flush.. next, get yourself some thin sheet metal and cut two small pieces the same width as a real M4 magazine... then get some self tapping screws and tap the two pieces on each side of your 98c where you see fit.. next insert the real M4 mag into the two pieces of sheet metal and tap in some screws into the mag.. then paint black to match.. it's actually a lot easier than it sounds and gets you look you're looking for.. hope this helps.. this is on my a5 but i did the same on my 98c but don't have pics of it

There is also this magazine, all you have to do is make holes in the body of your gun. I'll order this thing instead.

yeah... thats messed... I'd get rid of the barrel and put an accurate one on instead for that price, even an APEX maybe... But what you do with your gun in private is your own bussiness. |

I e-mailed them.
There is not much to tell when it comes to installation. You will need to remove the airline, install the magwell with 4 setscrews and reconnect the airline. We have a 4 week back order right now. Sounds easy to install, I guess I have to drill holes in my gun though... Meh If I sell it one day I'll sell the whole gun with the engler mag on it. I'll probably remove the 98C original handguard |
