I'd get an HPA tank (aka Nitro an Compressed Air). New, they run about $200. I'd suggest that you get a 68/4500 or bigger. 68 meaning 68 Cubic Units, or Inches, and 4500 meaning 4500 psi internal pressure. Make sure that you get a High Ouput tank (around 850 psi). Not only will you be able to use this on your 98c, but your guns in the future to will benefit from this (and if you get an Electro gun, you need a HPA tank most of the time). Then, do some home mods. You can find a lot on www.98central.net. I'd also do the super R/T mod, to get your R/T faster. To do this mod, simply call Tippmann, tell them you have the R/T and LPK (even if you don't have the LPK), and ask for the larger hose and fittings. Then, replace the stock R/T hose and fittings with the new, and see the added speed to your R/T after tuning of course). The new hose and fittings allow more air to the R/T since they're bigger, making it more responsive, increasing speed. |

The Palmers Stabalizer is a regulator. It helps regulate the pressure going into your gun. When used with CO2, it will make your gun a lot more consistent, help prevent velocity spikes, and help prevevnt your gun from freezing up. When used with HPA it will also make your gun more consistent, and should help prevent shootdown at high rates of fire. The great thing about Palmers are that they work great with both CO2 and HPA. |
