I have 2 identical a'5's moddded the same way.

polished internals
lapco snapshot barrels
e grip with was board
red power tube ( waste of money)
folding stock with rva
jcs double trigger
hi-flow banjo and qev with 1/8" line
new ratchet in both

With both guns left on the default settings for the was boards set to full auto i get a misfeed once in a while. I would say once for every 30-40 balls shot. Is there a cure for this ? I would like to keep them on full auto. I no default the was is set for 15bps and ive left that. I hope i dont have to lower it.

Thanks,
Chris

There may be no readily available fix for this. All hoppers tend to not drop a ball into the feed mechanism every once in a while due to a bit of bridging that takes the the stack of paint in the hopper.

I have found that really shiny slick paintballs actually ten to stick to each other keeping one from dropping quickly when necessary. Keeping the inside of the hopper meticulously clean helps and I have also found that laying fresh paint out on a towel and rolling it around with another towel tends to clean residue from the manufacturing process.

Paint like Marbs and All Star that actually have a slight mat texture to their surface tend to flow a bit more smoothly. A guy at our field said that he dusted his paint balls and inside the hopper with talc and eliminated virtually all of his mis-feeds.

I use a Halo B and find that some paint will mis-feed about every 30 to 60 balls. Other paint never misses a slot on the cone wheel. Another part of my problem is the feed neck on my 98C...if not cleaned every week or so seems to get gummy from ball residue and slow the movement of the paint.
