I want to go HPA for my A-5 but iono wut to get... Since i plan on gettin a scuba tank to fill my own air, would if matter if it's a 48 ci or 68 ci tank??? Isn't the max psi that i can get is up to 3000 psi from the scuba tank?? So why would i need a --/4500psi tank??? fiber wrap or alloy???why? Do i need a drop for the tank??? If i don't make sense then ignor me because iono nothin about HPA.. Edited by a5king - 13 February 2006 at 11:57pm |

WEll all i will say this if it will help. 3000 psi 10x Ci. 4500 psi 15x Ci. 5000 psi 17.5x Ci. This is how you figure out how many shots you can get out of a tank......also varys by gun Edited by LPA 16 - 14 February 2006 at 2:48pm |

4500 tank holds more air than a 3000 tank. So you get more shots out of the 4500. If you are going to fill it up yourself then just get a 3000. If you play at a paintball field I would just pay for all day air as opposed to getting the scuba tank. The fields I play on charge 10 dollars for all day air which is not bad. It beats the hassle of dragging a scuba tank around with you, and you can get your tank filled up to 4500. Fiber wrapped tanks are lighter than alloy or alluminum tanks. They cost a little more money but to me its worth it. If you do get a pure energy tank and plan to hook it up to the gun then get the 48ci tank with 3000 psi. if you plan on using a remote you can get a bigger alluminum tank. I have one pure energy tank and have not had any problems with it. I also have one fiber tank that I got off Ebay for a good price and it is a sweet tank. |

Thanks maxxgold!!! I Didn't think i'll get any more answers... But yeah, i found a pure energy 68/3000psi fiber wraped for 80 bucks and he also have a system X 68/3000psi tank for 80 dollars also..and i was thinking of telling my friend about the other tank, so he can go HPA too.. and some guy is suposed to sell his scuba with the fill station for 150 dollars.. Also the fiber wrap tank needs to be hydrated or wutever... how much does it cost???? Is the system x tank a decent tank??? more answers are welcome.. |

Getting a tank hydroed costs about $35. I have a SCUBA tank with fill station, and I have a 68CI/4500PSI fiber wrapped and i get it filled once from the shop and then go up to 2600 PSI when i fill it. You get TONS more air with the bigger tank. Also, the Pure Energy tank would probably be the better choice. You won't need a drop forward if your running remote, but w/e you want.
