Ok, I found another use for the JCS folding stock and replaced it with
this older Opsgear Spetznaz AK stock. I also took off the red dot sight and used this weaver rail with a little modification to make it work. So far I've just done the flat black, no drybrushing yet. I want to get the gun right first. Thanks to the parts box, I think it's starting to look pretty good. What do you guys think? Nauz IMG]

nice, but it would be better with some actual custom work. Make
it look less like an A-5 and more like an AK. Cut the overhang
off thats infront of the mag (dunno what to call it), and try to make
the A-5 body less curvy.

Some do. I had a real one that had a completely black composite stock and hand guard. It looked awsome! I should never have sold that gun. Edited by nauzerlvr - 19 February 2006 at 11:08pm |

You know, it's beginning to grow on me too! I'm thinking less and less about weathering it at this point. Edited by nauzerlvr - 20 February 2006 at 10:18am |

Try weathering it and losing the drop. It's very nice as it is, but there is a little room for improvement.
