It may and it may not. Some people have had these fall out and still be fine. But others, including me, have had problems. If your guns starts double shooting, you'd want to replace those. I personally wouldn't take the risk and just get the new screws. Call Tippmann, they might send it to you for free.

they don't cost that much, why not play it safe and get some more
bolts. Tippmann built and designed it to have bolts there so they must
of had a reason to put them there in the first place. Just call'em up
and ask them for two more of those bolts. Don't be lazy, take care of
your equipment.

Yes, it will hurt. You will get double firing maybe, but you will almost certainly get erratic velocity.
From my replacement parts post: Valve bolts - 10-32 thd, 1/4" length, button head bolt (A bit of an unusual length, McMaster part number 91255A261 for an exact replacement) You could try a hardware store, they might have replacements even though its a pretty wacky length. Just remember when you put the new ones in, snug them tight but do not overtighten the bolts or you could strip the threads out of the valve. Edited by Enos Shenk - 04 March 2006 at 2:43pm |
