I am considering picking up a qloader but a quick question first. Looking through the posts about it and random users pictures, it seems virtually everybody has mounted it on the front of the marker under the barrel. Is it possible to mount the QPod to the right reciever so it runs parallel to the body? Basically starting / ending where the reciever half starts / ends |

All the ones I've seen have them mounted under the barrel. I wanted to do the same thing you do. I think Qloader's website sells kits that allow you to re-position the loader.

u can mount it to the right of the body, but did u ever think (if your right handed) it would be in the way unless u mounted ut up higher. yeah,if u modified the bracked that fits of the A5.

you could build your own connectors and crap. It could end up being slow to change pods like that though...

Not to be a kill joy, but wouldn't that take away from the "low profile" that the Q Loader is trying to assume?

Its best under the barrel. Thats why they advertise it under the barrel.

Mounting the Qloader onto the right receiver would still greatly reduce the side profile of the marker. If I had one, thats where id put it. Seems to me the pod would be quite cumbersome under the barrel. |

Tell me if I'm wrong but if you were to mount it on the right side, then wouldn't it be a little too much weight on that side? *disregard this post. is an idiot* Edited by the_skdster - 25 March 2006 at 6:51pm |
