Hey Guys, you guys are 3 for 3 on helping me resolve issues so lets keep it up. I just bought an A5 and just gassed it up to test it. After screwing it in, I heard a low tone leaking sound coming from the front of the gun. Not heavy, just slowly sounding. Whats the problem here? I'd prefer to use this with my new egrip Saturday rather then my backup Spyder, so any help would be most awesome. Dankes.

~Tom

Did the leak go away after you cocked the gun?

you either didn't cock the gun, didn't oil the valve, or you need to replace a valve o-ring.

Is it leaking at the front of the gun, or at the Tombstone?

I cocked the gun, I've owned 10 Tippmanns before this so I already know that. I asked the guy who I bought it from and he said to oil the cup valve. I'll do that when I get some air. Any more comments or suggestions would be awesome. Thanks guys

The tombstone is what the gas line is screwed into at the bottom of the gun between the trigger grip and the front grip.

Download the manual (if you don't have it) from Tippmannpros or elsewhere so you can check the exploded drawing.

Gee, you noticed everyone stopped helping you out?  C'mon Snipes, your 18 & you've owned 10 Tippmanns?  I just bought my very first marker less than a month ago & I know what the tombstone is.

Forums can be a wonderful learning tool, if you do nothing but take the time to simply read any previous posts that interest you.   The quality of the answers to more specific questions by any individual, and hence, whether they leave said forum feeling good about what they found there or ticked off because 'they didn't treat me right' is directly proportionate to the respect due the forum by being sincere with their questions & responses in the first place.
