what does rehyro a tank mean and what does the date mean..... how do u get it rehyroed and how much does it cost im confused...

one thing its hydro not hyro i suck at spelling and i know how to spell that and the date is the next time the tank needs to be rehydroed tested no one will fill the tank with out it being tested

It is thee date that the tank needs retested to meet safety requirements. For Aluminuin CO2 tanks it is normally 5 years.FRetesting a CO2 tank is pretty much pointless because getting the tank rehydroed is about the same price as buying a new tank. for fiber wrapped HPA tanks, the date is either 3 or 5 years depending on the date of manufacture. Also fiber wrapped tanks have a lifespan of 15 years, and after that they are destroyed. For Steel HPA tanks, it is 5 years. Hydro Testing is normally around $20-30 depnding on where you go. The best option is to ask your local fire department where they get their tnaks tested, and send your tank there.
