exapansion chamber double firing

   i put in my expansion chamber and went out and shoot some paint at our dog house, about every 20-15 shoots it would double fire and the ball would go only 3/4 the normal distance.  I dont hear any leaks at all.  but also when i put it in, i twisted the bottom half of the x-chamber so it would line up about 1/2 a turn.  ideas anyone?

any help would helpful...
