the x chamber is, not including threads, 4.5''.

what drop ae you going to use? the silver grip ,aka x chamber, worked with a drop that was 2.5'' down and 7' foreward (the bullet on the grey tippy) and still had a good bit of room. heres a pic if you need it for reference
