ok im a noob with a new tippman a-5 my lil bro fro some reason thought it would be fun to play war with it while i wasnt home. he took it and droped it now when i cock it back it dosent lock in place and even when there are no more paint balls the barell should close and it dont.. if this sounds familuar please let me know..

Take it apart and check if everything is in place.

Check out my thread on this page, it has pictures of the internals and how it should look.

Just push out the push pins and unscrew the screws and the gun comes apart.

You'll need an allen wrench. Your gun should have came with a set.

Then if you don't have any allen wrenches, you'll have to go to the store and pick some up. Just get a set of them.

Agreed, if something breaks while you're playing you need to know how to fix the problem. Especially since it could be something VERY simple to fix.
