By "screw with" do you mean "adjust"?

when you adjust the velocity screw all your really doing is making it faster, which means it'll go further. i dont think it has anything to do with accuracy, unless theres some kid of firepower upgrade like the RT that i dont know about, i've never upgraded the inside of my marker so i wouldnt know about that.

You will get the best accuracy out of a given barrel at 275-300fps. The best increase in accuracy without buying a new barrel is make sure that you buy the correct paintballs to match your barrel size.

There are certain barrels that produce best accuracy at specific ball velocity. The Flatline is one in particular that gives best accuracy when set at 270 to 280 fps.

Make your next accessory purchase a handheld chronograph. Don't "screw with" the velocity screw. Adjust it to provide best (and correct) velocity and accuracy.
