tried my remote line out

went out with a few friends the other day and I figured it would be a good time to try out the remote line I bought off this guy. I already had the orings changed in the part that connects to the tank because it was leaking...

it makes the gun feel awesome, nice and light. But when I put my ear to where it connects to the gun, I can hear a light hiss, guessing its leaking... I can't see how thats normal, anything I can do about it?

You don't need to necessarily use teflon tape cause that gets annoying if you will be removing it a lot. Just try adding a few drops of oil across the threads and o-ring before threading it in.

There is an oring down inside the quick-disconnect. It seals the end of the male fitting when it is inside the female fitting. I blew mine out a few times and had to replace it. It might be nicked or something. Use a small screw driver to get it out and then use the same screwdriver VERY GENTLY to seat a new one down int here. 

Speaking of remote lines.. I bought one for my ProCarbine but when I shut down at the bottle I have to shoot off 10-15 shots to clear the hose before I can disconnect it from the gun! Anyone install an on/off valve on the hose itself at the gun-end? Any recommendations? I realize there are ASA's that can be used at the bottom of the gun grip or drop fwds, but that still allows for pressure in the remote line itself--which is not helpful.

Oops! I misspoke. I meant on the remote line(hose) where it connects to the gun. Not the hose from the ASA to the barrel... Or is this still unheard of? It was obnoxious to us when playing with the gun in the backyard to have to shoot around 15 shots to clear the gun.
