Okay, here she is stripped and polished a bit. It's a rough job, to see how it looks, so file marks are still visible, and edges are a bit rough. Keep in mind, working with hand tools and files is difficult...
It really is shinier in real life, but like I said, it's an experiment phase. What I ask you is this: To paint or not to paint? I don't have the money to anno, and paint works fine. Or I could just clean it and polish it better. If paint, which color(s)? The Duracel scheme just wasn't doing it for me... |

But even if I do, the real question would be is $150 or so to anno all the parts worth it for a Spyder I could paint? And thanks for the input! |

i think you should do an all chrome spyder...... shine it up with some mothers mag and a dremels turning wheel, and then clear coat it......itll be hard, and shiny, looks good tho, what did it start out as???

Meh. On second thought, that would be kind of funky... I think I'm just gonna polish it and use different color accents, like the front block, frame/grip, reg, drop/rail/asa, feedneck and all that good stuff. So, uh, which color? I'm thinking black, blue or red. Black would be easiest to get, methinks. |
