i know that the leak of C02 is coming from where the gas line enters the power tube. I've wrapped the threads with thread seal tape but it continues to leak. I'm afraid to screw it in to far because i dont want to damage the valve. Any ideas?

It can't be tightened too far because it bottoms against the edge of the end plug.

Try using Loc-tite gel/paste. It may make a better seal. Also, check the threads of the gas line, they may be stripped in a small area.
