Am looking around in the marker for a new paintball gun something that will take a little bit of a beating. right now I own a Tippmann A-5 and well i'd just like to get something else just in case it would be down, any way am looking at getting one of Tippmann's pro/carbines i've seen alot of good reviews and a few bad my question is should I get this gun or not? and if there is something better out there please let me know...only thing is that the gun has to be a tippmann.

I would get a 98c instead. Pro/Carbine arn't very customizable, where as 98c's are, plus they arn't as much money.

See thats part of the point in why am looking at the pro/carbine is because you can't really upgrade it heh I know it sounds strange but if I can upgrade a gun I usualy go a little over board so I figured with the pro/carbine I'll actuly save money.

force yourself not to upgrade it then. and u said that if you get a pro carbine you can save more money, a 98c would save u more because its cheaper and then you just have to not go overboard with upgrades!

the procarbine was probably the last ultra-durable paintball gun ever produced now that tippmann is going for customizeability/speed over quality. 98's are durable and reliable, but i wish i had a p/c instead.
i guess my 68 special will have to satisfy me with its solid steel goodness. Edited by pattison - 27 August 2006 at 2:53pm |
