I finally sucked it up and bought a C-3 from D*cks sporting goods... Does anyone here have experiance with it and if so, do you like it? I'm basically buying it to save money since my A-5 fires so bleedin' fast and uses so much C02 I wanted a money saver.. are there ANY upgrades for it at all? Thanks in advance!!!

I live about 50MIN from a decent refill station, I bought it because I don't want to worry about air and I've heard it's a very good pump-action marker.. do you have any experiance with it? Or are you just saying "why just why" for no reason?

*sigh* noone is getting this point at all.. C02 = 5$ a fill, I get 600 Shots outta my A-5, C-3 = 50,000 shots = 2$ Can, look in the longrun DsXz.

I like to play paintball LONG-TERM with my friends.. they have Spyders which last alot longer with air than my A-5 :( Now if someone could instead of just giving a short smart *** remark, tell me why this was bad.. please do. I wanted a effective pump-action marker where I would constantly have air and it would have decent range-accuracy.. did I do something wrong here?

no for what you need (long lasting) you bought the perfect gun the c-3 is not a bad pump but you could buy a much better one for the money. |

Yeah, I was lookin at the Phantom... (BEST OF THE BEST) however it uses C02.. which I only want to use on my A-5..so that was outta the list, C-3 is the only gun with Propane so I'm stick with it, has anyone here actually USED it?

I think the idea of 50,000 shots is awesome. But how bad does it stink everytime you fire? I was looking at it in my 2006 Tippmann catalog and I can't help but wonder about some kind of safety problems with it. I know Tippmann would not market a gun that would blow up, but it is propane.

C02 can give you frost-bite and Nitrogen can blow up... Propane aint all that bad, from what I've been reading you tune the gas.. too rich would mean lots of smell, in between would be JUST enough to fire the marker which is what I'm going for when I get it... all the reviews say it's ONLY bad when you screw it in which I can easily handle.. here are two good videos (one's funny ones not)

You only get 600 shots off a 20oz C02 tank? Huh. I'd get around 800+ on mine with my A-5. I wonder if the R/T has anything to do with it?
I think the C3 is a little overpriced. How often will you use it? Will you get $200 worth of use out of it? What you should have done with the money is gotten yourself a 20lb C02 cylinder and fillstation. That way, you could fill your own bottles and charge your friends a modest fee for refills ($.13/oz) and make your money back on the 20lb fill. A 20lb cylinder and fillstation would have cost you substantially less than $200. I think you made a bad decision, but hey, that's my opinion. You know what they say about opinions... |

Ok how about this buy a good crossfire nitro tank and a stab and I bet
you... you will get 1100+ shots depending on how big of a tank you
get... and nitro fills are like 3-5 bucks... o almost forgot drop the
r/t thats your main prob i saw a huge increase in tank life after i
drop'd the r/t

C-3 I'll be useing most likely everyday for back yard shooting as well, I've seen it in action and it's a pretty cool gun. A-5.... yeah it might be because of the R\T or BECAUSE my stock is putting more pressure on my drive spring which could mean more air usage..
Ricwhic why would I drop the R\T? I Friggin' love the R\T it gets me outta fire easier than the E-Grip cause when backing to cover I CAN go into fully automatic |

so can an egrip... and if you put the egrip on turbo mode and turn up the bps you might as well be shooting full auto... if you like the rt stick with it im just tryin to help you out with your air problem.. but i guess you dont have one anymore cuz you have the c3 |

are you serious thats what an r/t... and depending on the field some places will allow it havent found one yet but i no there is some... if ramping is allowed that means that they want one pull and release to be one ball is fired... tell me how an r/t works it an r/t isnt ramping |
