500 psi max? Not so sure that's right.

Second link doesn't work.

It baffles me why people ask AFTER they buy something whether or not it'll work.

Sorry bro, just.... in a rush here, I'm trying to get EVERYTHING on Friday lol, The barbs were basically 1\8 however I did not see an O-Ring on them so I also ordered these Palmer Gaskets I got the rubberized metal ones. What's wrong about the 500psi?

Seems kinda low.

Then again, I don't see a higher pressure one, and people do use Palmers QEVs so I guess you're ok.

Actually the "High-Flow" one on their website which I didn't list says 300PSI.... the Clippards one I believe is about 150PSI.... so I was actually surpised at how high this one was. Do you think those gaskets will make a pretty good seal (I HATE TEFLON TAPE!)

They should, provided they fit.

What's wrong with the tape?

I've just heard of problems with teflon coming loose and shooting into the Cyclone...not easy to get out... I'm only experianced at striping my A-5.. not the Cyclone.

It would only come loose if the tape extends beyond the threads. As long as none of it dangles in the path of the air, it wont come off.

Ok... so I can use that instead of the gaskets for screwing the QEV into the Cyclone? What would you use? Gaskets or Teflon?

Gaskets first, and if they don't fit or otherwise don't work, teflon.

Someone here posted that Tippmann wil send FREE upgrade for the R/T (the same $20 kit from tippmann parts) as long as you tell them its for your marker that will no longer be using CO2 but HPA tank. Is that true?

What would the total cost of this upgrade? I just ordered the barbs and QEV from palmer and it was like $27. I still need to purchase the kit from Tippmannparts for $20 plus shipping. Do you guys think its more cost effective to purchase an e-grip?

No.. you tell them you would be useing LP and you would also be lying.. I guess it would be technically worth it, I already ordered mine though. QEV From Palmers was like 37 it had the 1\8 barb and high-flow qev, hoses about 28 (including shipping)... I'm not doing vortex yet so this should be fine for me. I'm just makin my R\T a Super R\T and also powering up the Cyclone so that it can keep up with the SUper R\T

So I should tell them I will be using a LPK with response trigger that the cyclone is not feeding? They will then send the same kit that tippmannparts has for $20?
