I am looking at spending a few hundred dollars on my A-5 to make it perform better and maybe look better. Main goal is to perform better.
Could someone let me know what some good parts to buy are? Internal parts as well, like replacing the bolt and getting the RT. I am going to replace the Flatline with a 14" barrell, What is a good barrell?
    Any suggestions would be greatful.
Thanks.

A-5
Flatline
Car Stock
Remote
And a love of woodsball!!

Well, that doesnt make me happy. I want my gun to perform better! I am not overly impressed with the flatline, is there anything (besides good paint) that will improve it?
I would like to get the RT, but the QEV wont work with it. My buddy has the E-Grip (I havent seen it in use yet) and he cant fully understand how it works. Now hes not the sharpest nail in the bag, but a guy would think it should be fairly easy. So that has kinda swayed me away from the e-grip.

does it truly matter how it works?  It works, and it works really well at that.  As long as you can change the battery and are able to take precatiouns against messing it up like getting watter in it, you should be good

Does your friend have the first production Egrip or the newer one with the W.A.S. board?  If it is the W.A.S. board, I can understand his problem, but it can't be that difficult.

As far as the flatline:  How have you tuned it?  What velocity is the marker set at?  All you need is small-medium bore paint and it should work fine.  Most people that aren't terribly satisfied with their flatline don't have their setup tuned correctly.

Whoever told you the QEV won't work with a R/T isn't correct.  There are a few people that haven't had a problem with it.  A QEV and Vortex Mod tandem application does wonders for improving the performance of an A-5 with either Egrip or R/T.

Egrip, Ape rampage board, JCS Dual trigger, Rufus Dawg Wicked bolt, Freak kit, etc. If you look around, you find a lot of ups. If you have extra money, look into a HPA tank.
