    Posted: 10 January 2007 at 11:04pm

Today I just recieved my Tippmann Vertical & Expansion Chamber kit..Guess what.. The Gas Line was too big..I dont know what to do.. I emailed tippmann today so they will tell me I hope.. But can yall give me any advice.. The end of the Gas Line doesnt fit in the Expansion chamber hole..Its bigger than the whole hole! So now I have a Tippmann 98 Custom with a Vertical CO2 Tank until I get a new line HELP! It fits into the hole that the co2 hooks into though

That's just odd. It should be a standard fitting, are you sure you're just running your standard steel-braid line from your asa to the expansion chamber?

Most hardware stores will carry brass fittings that will reduce from the line fitting down to the chamber fitting.

But is this what you have?

If that is what you have, and you are sure the hole is improperly sized, then it sounds like a manufacturing defect. I would contact Tippmann, or else who you bought the expansion chamber from, and see about getting it replaced.

You might have ordered the X-chamber kit for the custom pro. Go to tippmannparts.com, they have two different kits. One for a 98 and one for a 98pro.

The hose fitting hole should be the same for both, 1/8" npt.
