Well, I'm going to have to go with the 98ACT seeing as how it does have ACT unlike the A5.

There are exactly two reasons why an A-5 would EVER chop paint: bad paint or mechanical problem. Except for the occasional bad batch and ratchet problem, my A-5 has not chopped a single paintball. Not one. And I have put a lot of paint through that thing. A properly functioning A-5 (or X-7, or 98 Cyclone) with decent paint is practically incapable of chopping. |

thanks guys...im in the market since my viewloader broke last week, and so far ive narrowed it down to these 2. no matter what gun i get, i will install an e grip. im pretty sure the one i will buy will be mostly for its antichopping ability..thats why i like the 98 and a5(and i played with my friends a5, and it was awsome!) :)

98 with Cyclone. You could always make a ghetto anti chop for the A5, but you really do not need it. |

man, apart for a bad ratchet my dads never choped paint in his cyclone and ive never choped paint in mine either and performance wise i feel the a-5 is much better than my 98 and its not that much expensife. get a confy stock, vest, remote, good barrel, new front bolt and its an awsome set up. then again, a 98act with cyclone would be great |
